Choose A Different Path
In 2006, GOTAGS developed a 2-day workshop for administrators for the Tennessee Academy of School Leaders (TASL) of the Tennessee State Department of Education.
A total of 90-plus principals and assistant principals participated in sessions in which they collaborated (1) to sharpen their own knowledge and skills in beginning a school year and (2) to gain knowledge and skills in mentoring their teachers in starting the year.
TASL reported that the GOTAGS workshops received some of the highest ratings and most positive reviews of all the administrative professional development programs offered.
